At Wildernessspine, we understand that plans can change. This Return Policy outlines our procedures for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of coastal photography tour bookings.

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If our service has a major failure (for example, it is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for purpose), you may be entitled to a refund, cancellation, or other remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. The terms below describe our voluntary refund and cancellation procedures and do not limit your statutory rights.

Cancellation Policy

We offer flexible cancellation options for our coastal photography tours:

  • More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund available
  • 24-48 hours before tour: 50% refund or free rescheduling
  • Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund, rescheduling subject to availability

Weather-Related Cancellations

Coastal conditions in Queensland can sometimes be unpredictable. If Wildernessspine cancels a tour due to unsafe weather conditions:

  • You will receive a full refund, or
  • You may reschedule to any available date at no extra cost

The decision to cancel due to weather is made by our experienced team with safety as the primary concern.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the booking. Please note that your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

Rescheduling Tours

We encourage rescheduling rather than cancellation when possible. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and should be made at least 24 hours before your original tour date. There is no fee for rescheduling when done within our policy timeframes.

Partial Tour Participation

If you choose to leave a tour early or arrive late, no partial refunds will be provided. Please ensure you can commit to the full tour duration before booking.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers for Wildernessspine tours are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but are transferable to another person.

Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly. We will work with you to find a fair solution on a case-by-case basis.
